Despite the extremes in technological development and advancement by the West since the end of World War II, a dumming-down of Western societies has obviously occurred since the countercultural revolution of the 1960s, and perhaps arising in part out of that, though the hidden agendas of the secretive globalization elites must also be considered. In 2026 we are now more stupid than ever, whilst thinking we are smarter. For example, we believe that men are women and women are men, if they say so; we take drugs that kill us, though they are meant to heal; we call the truth disinformation or misinformation, i.e., lies, because governments say so; we no longer respect historical fact, but only rely on everyday reality and view the past only in relation to that; we don't read, but simply scroll; we install professors in our leading universities based not on intellectual prowess but rather the colour of their skin, their level of experienced discrimination and trauma, their disabilities, and their expertise at bullshit / fantasizing their personal narrative; we victimize victims and applaud perpetrators; we believe what we are told, rather than what we discover through critical analysis; we jail people for expressing personal opinions; we hand-cuff the dying victims, and console their killers; we abandon what we believe in, and replace it with what we are told; we call Islam a religion of peace, though we know it is a death cult ideology that is antithetical to everything we believe in, but fear makes us mute. We are cowards. We are idiots, getting dumber and dumber every day.

The present writer has been an idiot for way too long, and realised this in November 2025, after 69 years of being proud of my self-identification as a critical thinker. The realisation was profound.
