The true Jesus
During April 2026 I had a revelation. For the previous 2-3 years I had been carrying out a deep dive into the subject of consciousness, and along the way had encountered the concept of the Cosmic Consciousness as fundamental, i.e., as God, the Creator, Source, The One and the origin of the universe and all things contained therein, both material and non-material. I did not give it much thought as I was concentrating on aspects of my own individual consciousness - what it was and how it came to be. But by the end of 2025 I had figured that out to my satisfaction and moved on to other things, such as What is Islam? and who is Jesus Christ. The latter was interesting as I had been raised a Catholic; took on aspect s of Buddhism in the early 2000s; and in October 2025 read the Qur'an which told me that Jesus was simply a human man, a prophet, and nothing more. But between October 2025 and April 2026 I thought deeper about both Jesus as God and Jesus as man, such that I felt I better knew both. And it was this which opened up to me the reason why I had always doubted the way in which the Catholic Church had managed the concept of Jesus Christ in a very human way, as though he was just like one of us, though of course they said he was God. This confusion was dispelled when I came across the following video which explained to me the primary difference between the Catholic Church version of Jesus Christ - which I was sceptical about - and the Gnostic version, which ultimately tied in with what I had come to believe was closer to the truth.
Church Jesus versus Gnostic Jesus - the truth they hid, The Lost Gospel, 23 April 2026, YouTube, duration: 33.21 minutes.
The difference: That the Gnostic Jesus was a teacher of individual truth for all human kind; the Catholic Church Jesus was a manipulator, a rule maker, a tool of an institution which sought power and control over human beings - like many other religions - but was more human in its operation than God-like. In other words, Jesus offered a clear solution in regards to how we can save ourselves, without the need for Church or State; the Church, on the other hand, demanded obedience to it in order for one to be saved. One was right, and one was wrong, and it was obvious to this writer in April 2026 that the former ticked the box, and not the latter.
