1. Introduction
On 5 January 2025 the writer watched a YouTube video with an intriguing clickbait headline: 8 Types of UFOs. In it Canadian Cate Chassé revealed for the first time publically UFO and paranormal experiences dating back to childhood in the 1960s. The list was quite amazing, as was the eventual description of eight types of UFOs encountered. Throughout Chassé was rather skeptical about her own experiences, and for this reason the writer made contact and reinforced the reliability of what was describing, based on the wealth of information on the topic which had become available in recent years. As there was no accompanying website or listing of the encounters, apart from what was stated in the video, they are briefly summarised below, along with a link to the original interview.

The associated podcast blurb described the speaker as follows: Podcast guest #1366 is Cate Chassé, who has witnessed 8 types of UFOs. She is a retired Librarian that has a deep interest in metaphysics and mysticism, and has had a lifetime of UFO and paranormal experiences. Cate’s early life was marked by an extraordinary encounter at age six with a non-corporeal being, an experience that awakened her to the possibility of realities beyond the physical. In 1997, Cate encountered a light being and, over the years, has witnessed eight different types of UAP craft, each sighting reinforcing her knowledge of the existence of the phenomenon.
The text below was based on comments made during the interview. Any subsequent comments by the present writer were indicated in brackets thus [...]. In closing, Chassé noted: "I hope that [alien] contact is imminent .... and I actually feel that they are here to help."

2. Experiences
The following is a chronological summary of some of the experiences of Cate Chassé as outlined in the Jeff Mara podcast of 4 January 2025. It begins with a pre-birth regression, and continues up until the summer of 2024.
pre 1963
* During a regression session, Chassé recalled that prior to being born she was located in a capsule in a cave underground, perhaps in some sort of stasis, and then moving to the location where she subsequently lived. This appeared to be part of a reincarnation episode, though Chassé had no opinion as to the veracity of the regression account.
1963
* Cate Chassé was born.
1967
* Age: 4. Chassé remembered an episode (possibly a dream?) whereby she was in her brother's crib and manifested a bowl of grapes from the fridge. She ate some, and returned them to the fridge whilst remaining in the crib.
1969
* Age: 6. Chassé's first contact with an alien or spirit occurred in the summer of 1969, around September. Whilst waiting for a bus, she had an encounter with a non-corporeal (not physical), human-shaped, featureless body, wherein she felt a heavy force and heard a voice say: "Death does not exist." She thought at the time that it was God. This set her on the path of a seeker, alongside anguish over the possibility of death.
* As a child, Chassé had frequent strange dreams.
1975
* Age: 12. Chassé has a dream about demons flying around her house and trying to capture her, but for some strange reason they were not being able to do so. In another (undated) dream a demon tried to steal her soul.
1976
* Age: 13. By this stage Chassé was reading about the occult and paranormal events.
* After her sighting (?it is unclear what precise date she is referring to here) Chassé had a lot of dreams whereby she encountered aliens and UFOs. For example, she dreamt of a beautiful alien with shiny skin with the texture of a whale, black, featureless, and 5 ft 10 inches tall. It touched her and sent energy throughout her body. Generally, the types of dreams were: (1) Demonic, (2) Alien, (3) Spiritual figures. She also healed people in dreams, and in one instance created a massive strawberry out of nothing. Apart from dreaming a lot about aliens, she said she had been on different planets in her dreams. She also recalled an alien race with heavy brow, 7-8 ft tall. Sometimes her dreams were of future, non-significant events.
1992
* Fall, November - whilst out on a walk in a park in Toronto with her boyfriend and his best friend, around 11pm, Chassé sees about 500 ft away, 500 ft up, a metallic, dark, grey, football-shaped craft, the size of two 747s on top of each other. It has 1 1/2 foot diameter lights along the centre of the football, of a muted, inanimate circle of light, in a pattern of red, yellow, blue, green, orange. It was noiseless. She felt it was an extraterrestrial craft. The park was lit by orange light, with snow on the ground and heavy cloud making it quite bright for that time of night. The craft suddenly disappears and reappears in the eastern sky, then repeats that and reappears in the western sky. It felt like a heavy fog was coming down on it. Her room mate also saw it. This was important, as she did not think it was real prior to his comments. She subsequently became obsessed with the UFOs/ET issue and also continued to experience strange dreams and remote viewing during those dreams.
1993
* Summer - Chassé sees another UFO whilst on a beach at around 10 o'clock at night in a Canadian provincial park, isolated and next to a camp fire with her boyfriend, with another group of about 7-10 people also on the beach nearby. It was a beautiful, clear night with stars in the sky and in a direction north leading to wilderness and the north pole. She saw what looked like a star much brighter than Venus, then more orbs (14-15) began appearing, dancing around for about 30 minutes. The other people also saw them. Then they started to disappear one by one. [Comment: These were most likely plasma orbs, as opposed to metallic spheres.]

1997
* There was an encounter with an alien whilst living in an apartment in Ottawa, Canada. At around 3 a.m. one morning she saw a 5 ft 10 inch tall humanoid light being, like the light of a star, with rubbery, smooth, killer whale-like skin. She immediately collapsed on the floor, and when she recovered and looked up it was gone. She felt at the time as though she was being tested.

1998
* Chassé went back to school, obtained a masters degree, started a new career and got busy. She tried to forget about the UFO/ET issue for a period, ceasing the research though still thinking about it on occasion and having strange dreams and nightmares. She became concerned about the obsession and pushed it aside. Her friends did not believe her, though her mother and stepfather did, with the latter having seen what he termed bogies on a number of occasions, in the forests of northern Canada.
2017
* December - Chassé notes the New York Times UFO confirmation article and Wikileaks revelations. These start her back into pursuing the issue to a small degree, despite being busy with her career.
2022
* May - A sphere-shaped UFO is seen. Sitting on her condo balcony, mid afternoon, whilst reading a book, Chassé observes what looks like a balloon coming to within 300 feet of the condo, from the southeast, with westerly winds blowing. It was dark grey, with a very smooth, rivet-less, metallic skin, and about 4 foot in diameter. It was self-propelling and passed by the condo in a smooth motion. There was no evidence of any method of propulsion, such as exhaust portals. It was clear it was not a balloon. Chassé likened it to the Mosul Orb seen in Iraq during 2016 and in a photograph released in 2023 (Keane 2023). Taken in Iraq's city of Mosul in April 2016, the image (reproduced above) was part of a classified briefing for US officials and was shared by Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp on the first episode of their podcast 'Weaponized'. The sphere seen in the photograph is much larger than 4 feet in diameter, but nevertheless a similar metallic silver grey colour. It looked like a dull metal steel ball. [Comment: The propulsion for such a craft is due to free energy anti-gravity which enables motion, usually about 100 feet above the ground, as is seen with the US-built TR-3B, which is back-engineered based on alien technology.]
* July - Chassé observes around 10pm a white boomerang-shaped UFO, about 1,000 up in the sky, with each wing approximately 20-30 feet long. Initially it appeared like a very bright star, but then faded and repeated the process twice. The third time it brightened it then morphed into the boomerang shaped object. It had lights at the point of the boomerang and then two others. As it morphed it bank, flew around and then flew up into space. It moved smoothly in a manner similar to the Star Trek shuttle craft. There was no sound.

2023
* March - whilst at an airport in Mexico, Chassé sees 40 feet above her a ball shaped UFO with 3 or 4 protruding lights at different parts. The craft was motionless, silent and large - 30-40 feet in diameter. A man beside her said: "Is that a UFO?" and she responded in the affirmative. The craft then moved over to where they were standing and disappeared. This felt like a non-event.
* April - during a warm summer day, with clear skies punctuated with clouds. Whilst in a shopping centre parking lot, Chassé saw a UFO sitting at the base of a huge fluffy cloud, not moving for about 3-4 minutes. It was a white, disc-shaped object, about 30 foot in diameter, slightly titled and glinting in the sun. There was another huge cloud approximately 200 feet away beside it, and out from that cloud flew a tubular shaped UFO. It is white, about 20 feet in diameter, and about 50 feet in length. It flew across the sky from the cloud and into the adjacent cloud. Chassé chastises herself for not filming the event.
* June - at the Contact in the Desert event, Chassé, whilst sitting on the main restaurant patio at 7.30 am, sees a man on the 6th floor of a nearby hotel signalling something with a towel, when she sees a white, manta-ray UFO lift off of the top of a nearby mountain (Coso range), tilt slightly, and then shoot off in a direction to her left. This is likely a TR-3B.

* Summer - sees orbs on a number of occasion. On three or four nights in a row, at the same time, Chassé saw in space 10-12 orb-like UFOs appearing out of nowhere - "pop in" - and then flying away. They appear to be coming out of a portal or stargate, which is above and to the left of the condo where she lives, and where she also saw the disc and tubular UFOs.
2024
* June - at Contact in the Desert Chassé speaks to Mitch Randall of the Skywatch UFO Radar Network for about 2 hours about her contacts and sightings.
* Summer - a couple of nights in a row, at the same time, Chassé saw in space 10-12 orbs appearing out of nowhere - a portal? - and then flying away.

3. UFO types
The following are the types of UFOs encountered by Chassé, either alone or with other people. Detailed descriptions are included in the chronology above:
- Football-shaped UFO. November 1992.
- Orbs (plasma). Summer 1993 / Summer 2024.
- Sphere (metallic). May 2022.
- Boomerang-shaped UFO. July 2022.
- Ball-shaped UFO. March 2023.
- Disc-shaped UFO. April 2023.
- Tubular-shaped UFO. April 2023.
- Manta ray shaped UFO. June 2023.

3. Comments
Chassé questioned why she was subject to all of these sightings? Was it her, or did others experience a similar amount of unreported sightings? Were the UFOs and aliens specifically appearing for her benefit, or was she able to see things that other people could not see? None of these questions could be answered. In the writer's opinion it was something of the latter, wherein she was able to tune in to frequencies and aspect of the visible spectrum which others could not, and as a result she saw a lot more than people usually see in regards to UFOs and aliens or spirit beings. The fact that she appears to be living in the vicinity of an upper atmosphere / low earth orbit portal / stargate enhances this theory.
